Getting Started
How do I start my free trial?

Click Sign Up Today on any page of the site. You’ll create your account and enter your billing information — your card will not be charged for 10 full days. Once registered, you’ll immediately begin receiving trade alerts and daily commentary. If you decide MTOptions isn’t right for you, simply email support@mtoptions.com before day 10 and you will not be charged.
Will my credit card be charged when I sign up?

No. Your card is securely stored but not charged for 10 full days from the date you register. If you cancel before your trial ends, you will not be charged anything at all. Billing only begins if you remain an active member past the trial period.

How much money do I need to start trading?
+
Most brokerage firms allow individuals to open accounts with as little as $500. We recommend starting with $2,500 to $5,000. This allows you to participate in more opportunities and experience the full strength of our system. In order to maximize results, it helps to be able to participate in all of the plays released each week.
Do I need a day trading brokerage account?
+
No. Occasionally we will close a position the same day it was established, but this does not happen frequently enough to classify MTOptions as a day-trading system. A standard options-enabled brokerage account is all you need. We recommend any major broker that allows options trading.
What is QTrader and is it included?
+
QTrader is a specialized bonus service focused exclusively on trading options on the QQQ — the Nasdaq-100 ETF. It uses a parabolic time vs. price indicator combined with a stochastic strength indicator to generate 2–3 high-conviction QQQ trades per month — both calls and puts. QTrader is included with every MTOptions membership at absolutely no extra cost.

What information is included in each trade alert?

Every alert includes: the exact option to trade, the entry price range, a specific stop-loss price, a target exit price, scale-out levels to take partial profits, and most importantly — the Why. We explain the full reasoning behind every trade so you always know what you own and why. We do not send blind alerts.
When are trade alerts sent?
+
Alerts are emailed each evening and the member area is updated at the same time. We also issue intraday updates and new signals throughout the trading day whenever the system identifies an opportunity. Daily pre-market commentary is sent every morning before the opening bell, covering current market conditions and all open positions.
How many trade alerts do you release per week?
+
We release 4 to 7 new trade alerts per week with an average hold period of approximately 4 trading sessions per position. We emphasize quality over quantity — only the highest-conviction setups identified by TrendSearch XL make it through to members. This keeps commission costs low and focus high.
How long do you typically hold trades?

Our system identifies both short-term momentum plays of 1–5 days and longer swing setups of 1–4 weeks. The average hold period is approximately 4 trading sessions. The key is entering the position before the explosive move occurs — our system is designed to identify setups at that precise moment.
How does your system pick trades?

Our proprietary TrendSearch XL system monitors a series of technical indicators developed over 25+ years, including: unusual options volume, parabolic price/time movements, and drastic changes in relative strength. When these signals align, they are scored and weighted against current market conditions. Only the highest-scoring setups generate an alert. The system is fully automated and completely free from human emotion.
Can you profit in a bear or sideways market?

Yes — this is one of MTOptions’ core strengths. Our system is direction-agnostic. We trade both calls (bullish) and puts (bearish) depending on what the momentum signals indicate. Our published performance records go back to 2006 and include the 2008 financial crisis, the 2020 COVID crash, and the 2022 bear market — all periods where we continued to find profitable opportunities on both sides of the market.

Why trade options instead of stocks?

Options allow individuals to earn significantly higher returns than stocks while investing relatively smaller amounts of capital. Options move in either direction much more quickly than the underlying stock, offering greater gains in shorter timeframes. However, options require a proven system that can identify high-probability opportunities while simultaneously managing risk and removing emotion from the trade — which is exactly what MTOptions provides.
Will you limit the number of members?

Yes. MTOptions deliberately maintains a ceiling on the number of active subscribers for two reasons. First, we want to guarantee an outstanding level of personal service to every member. Second, when too many traders follow the same alert simultaneously, execution quality suffers — spreads widen and entries become less favorable. Limiting membership protects the quality of results for everyone.

Why does my statement show “Pinpoint Financial Group”?

Pinpoint Financial Group, LLC is the parent company that owns and operates MTOptions. All charges from MTOptions will appear on your credit card statement under Pinpoint Financial Group, LLC. If you have any questions about a charge, email support@mtoptions.com.
How do I cancel my trial or membership?
+
Send a cancellation request to support@mtoptions.com. Once we receive your email, your account is immediately cancelled and no further charges will be incurred.
Important: All cancellation requests must be sent by email to support@mtoptions.com for audit purposes. Requests received by phone, voicemail, or any other email address cannot be processed. Cancellations received on non-business days will be processed the following business day — if your account renews on a non-business day, please cancel by 5pm EST the prior business day.
Can I switch plans after I subscribe?

Yes. Email support@mtoptions.com and we will switch you to any plan. Any remaining time on your current plan is credited toward the new one. There is no penalty for upgrading or downgrading.
Is there a refund policy?

Due to processing costs, MTOptions maintains a no-refund policy on completed billing periods. However, you can cancel at any time and your membership will remain active through the end of your current paid period. The best way to evaluate MTOptions before any charges is to use the full 10-day free trial — you will not be charged if you cancel before it ends.
What happens if my credit card expires or is declined?

It is your responsibility to keep your billing information current. If we are unable to process your payment, your account will be suspended and an open invoice will be created. Upon receipt of updated payment information and reactivation, any discounts previously applied to your account will no longer be valid. Please update your card information proactively by contacting support@mtoptions.com.

How do I update my contact information or email address?

Log in to your MTOptions account and click on My Account. From there you can update your name, email address, and contact details. If you have any difficulty, email support@mtoptions.com and we will assist you directly.
How do I access my member area and past alerts?
+
Log in at mtoptions.com/login using the email and password you registered with. Once inside, you will have access to all current and recent trade alerts, open positions, daily commentary, and performance history. If you have trouble logging in, contact support@mtoptions.com.
How do I set up SMS/text message alerts?
+
SMS delivery is available for all MTOptions members. To set up text message alerts, email support@mtoptions.com with your mobile number and we will activate it for your account. All alerts delivered by email are also sent via SMS when enabled.
